These help us understand, in aggregate, which articles people find useful. Without them we are guessing.

Advertising — only with your consent
Pairly is funded by advertising. Advertising partners may use cookies and device identifiers to select ads, cap how often you see the same ad, and measure whether ads worked.

Declining advertising cookies does not remove advertising from the site. It means ads are not personalised using these technologies.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by companies other than us. We do not control them, and their own privacy policies govern what they do with the data. Third parties that may set cookies here are our analytics provider and our advertising partners — in both cases, only after you consent.
Separately, photographs on this Site are served from Unsplash’s content delivery
network, so your browser fetches them directly from images.unsplash.com. This is
required for the page to display and is not used for tracking or advertising, but it
does mean that provider receives your IP address and browser details. It is described
in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising partners’ cookies may be used for cross-site tracking — building a picture of your browsing across many websites in order to target ads. This is the main reason the advertising category is opt-in and separate from analytics.
How we ask for consent
The first time you visit, a panel appears explaining the categories. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage runs until you choose. You can:

Rejecting is one click, exactly like accepting. We do not make declining harder than consenting, and we do not re-prompt you to try to change your answer.
